<p>Provided is a wap page display method based on the WebKit browser, the method comprising the following steps: obtaining the mimetype value of a web page to be displayed; when the web page to be displayed is determined to be a wap page, based on the maximum view width of the WebKit browser, the display width of the display screen of the display terminal, and the minimum width required for the layout of the web page to be displayed, determining the display width required for the WebKit browser to display the web page to be displayed; and setting the display width as the width of the display area of the WebKit browser so as to display the web page to be displayed. Also disclosed is a wap page display device based on the WebKit browser. The method and device of the present invention are used for display terminals adopting the Android system, and can effectively identify the wap page when the WebKit browser is used, and determine the appropriate width of the browser display area.</p> |
