Method for performing hemodialysis, involves using hemodialysis device having dialysate having dialysate chamber, diaphragm having dialyzer, dialysate pump, suction pump, dialysate and blood chamber, priming arterial and venous lines with the source, connecting the arterial and venous line to patient, performing ultrafiltration from arterial and venous lines through the dialyzer membrane in the dialysate chamber of the dialyzer by suction pump, continuously determining the fluid pressure using the dialysate pressure sensor, and removing the dialysate from the sensor. Method for performing hemodialysis, involves using hemodialysis machine having dialysate having dialysate chamber, diaphragm having dialyzer, dialysate pump, suction pump, dialysate, dialysate pressure sensor, waste pump, and blood portion having an arterial line, blood pump, blood chamber and venous line, priming arterial and venous lines with the source, connecting arterial and venous line to patient, performing ultrafiltration from arterial and venous lines through the dialyzer membrane in the dialysate chamber of the dialyzer by suction pump, continuously determining the fluid pressure using the dialysate pressure sensor, and removing the dialysate from the sensor. |
