The invention relates to a terminal block (1) for electric conductors (21), comprising: a lower part (2) having at least one conductor element (13) and at least one or more terminals conductively connected thereto for conductors or plugs and further having a securing section (10) for securing to a carrying rail (38); and an upper part (20) having at least one conductor element (13') and at least one or more terminals conductively connected thereto for conductors or plugs, wherein the upper part (20) can be fixed, preferably detachably, to the lower part (2), wherein the fixation is at least such that the upper part, after being fixed, can no longer be moved relative to the lower part in the carrying rail direction, and/or that the fixation comprises at least one vertical connector (30), which can be plugged in and preferably be detached again and which connects the conductor element (13) of the lower part (2) and the conductor element (13') of the upper part (20) in an electrically conductive manner.
