A waste incinerator comprises a bin 3 holding a plug of waste forced towards the combustion chamber by an inflatable bag 4 and a base portion 1 of ceramic material containing an air chamber 9 with electric heating elements 10 through which air is passed to the combustion chamber via holes 12, 13. Exhaust gases and ash fall through hole 14 to a cooling chamber 15 supplied with cool air from a vent 16, the ash being separated from the gases into a tray 18. Cooled gases pass out through a vent 21. |
