<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable data processing apparatus and a variable data processing method, capable of utilizing effectively a data defining a relation between a plurality of variables. <P>SOLUTION: A storage means 11 stores a correspondence relation of values of three or more of variables, as a record combined with values of individual variables. A filtering means 12 narrows the record stored in the storage means 11, by receiving an operation of filtering for assigning a value of a specified variable. A graph display means 14 displays the relation between the plurality of variables other than the specified variable on a display screen 2 by a graph, as to the record narrowed by the filtering means 12.
