<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus capable of quickly obtaining a stable measured value without unnecessarily controlling drive means. <P>SOLUTION: Regions A1 to A3 for alignment between a reference position of an eye to be examined and an examining section are arranged concentrically in a plane perpendicular to an optic axis O of the examining section contacting a vertex of a cornea when the eye to be examined is in a proper position. The region A1 is set as a measurement-permissible drive control region wherein measurement is allowed and the drive means is controlled so that the reference position of the eye to be examined can be brought in alignment with the optic axis O of the examining section. The region A2 is arranged inside the region A1 and is set as a measurement-permissible region for allowing measurement. The region A3 is arranged outside the regions A1 and A2, and is set as a drive control region wherein the drive means is controlled so that the reference position of the eye to be examined can be brought in alignment with the optic axis O of the examining section. After it is determined that the reference position of the eye to be examined is located in which region of the regions A1 to A3, a computer processing section changes the control and an alignment method depending on the determined region of the regions A1 to A3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
