<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light source apparatus which is provided with a small diameter light emitting point through a simplified structure in lower cost, and emits the high luminance light, and also to provide a light source unit thereof, and a manufacturing method of the light emitting unit. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor light source apparatus 10 comprises: a semiconductor light emitting element 11a; an optical fiber 12 for guiding, to one end, the light from the semiconductor light emitting element inputted from the other end; and a light emitting unit 13 including phosphor material particle 13a allocated at the end of the other end side of this optical fiber. This semiconductor light source apparatus 10 has a structure that the light emitting unit is formed of a fine sphere in the diameter larger than that of a core formed of a transparent material attained, by mixing the phosphor material particle into the same material as that of the core integrally formed to the other end of the core of the optical fiber, and the fine sphere is resonated with the light from the semiconductor light emitting element or by confining the phosphor material excited with the light from the semiconductor light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
