The present invention relates to an embroidery machine and a correction method thereof, which can improve the difference of embroid quality caused by the characteristic difference of a soft body, or the difference of embroidery machine components and assembling steps, etc., wherein the embroidery machine comprises a storage unit used for storing correction information; an image obtaining apparatus used for obtaining baffeta images after finishing embroid work; a control unit used for embroid work through using the embroid data stored for correction, and used for driving the image obtaining apparatus after finishing the embroid work, and comparing the value information of the images obtained by the image obtaining apparatus with the value information of the embroid data for correction to generate correction information; an X/Y motor driving unit for driving the baffeta used for embroid to move on X/Y coordinates through the control signals of the control unit; and a main shaft motor driving portion performing embroid work through driving a needle bar by the control signals of the control unit. |
