<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED irradiation device having strong heat dissipation effect as a whole, capable of maintaining irradiation efficiency, as well as, stable irradiating light throughout a predetermined LED lifetime, and capable of activating the same safely and at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The LED irradiation device is constituted of a waveform shaping filter in a middle and an upper-end portions, in a longitudinal direction of the box-like LED irradiation device body; a sensor accommodation chamber; an LED irradiation unit accommodating chamber; and a control device accommodation chamber. By arranging a blower fan at one end of the LED irradiation device body and an exhaust fan at the other end, each of the LED irradiation unit accommodating chamber, the sensor accommodating chamber and the control device chamber is ventilated by cooling wind.
