The transmission has a discharge pipe-line (30) e.g. siphon, arranged in an oil sump (50), and comprising inlet opening (32). The inlet opening is arranged below pre-determined minimum oil filling level of the oil sump. A through hole (35) is formed to height of a minimum oil filling level so that a pre-determined oil filling level is permanently provided. The pre-determined level is same or greater than the minimum oil filling level, during operation of a wind energy system and/or during idle-time of the wind energy system. |
