Injection is terminated when the pressure acting on a piston 12 connected to an injection piston exceeds a predetermined pressure when the mould is filled. As described, the injection piston comprises an axially reciprocable worm 10. The pressure space 16 is connected to a pressure-sensitive device 22 which operates through a switch 23 and relay 24 to control a solenoid operated slide valve 18. An adjustable time delay relay 27 may be included to allow for materials having differing flow characteristics. |
