An OLED display device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance image quality by supplying a data voltage with an added threshold voltage to a gate electrode of a driving TFT(Thin Film Transistor). An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display device includes data and gate lines, a driving voltage source(VDD), an OLED element(OLED), a driving element(DT), an emission element(ET), first and second capacitors(Coff,Cst), and a switch circuit. The data and gate lines receive data voltages and scan pulses, respectively. The driving voltage source generates high voltage driving voltages. The OLED element is illuminated by currents flowing between the driving voltage source and a ground voltage source. The driving element controls currents flowing in the OLED element. The emission element switches a current path between the driving element and a ground voltage source. The first capacitor is connected between first and second nodes. The second capacitor is connected between the second node and the ground voltage source. The switch circuit charges a first voltage to the first node, decreases the voltage of the first node to a second voltage, increases the voltage of the first node to a third voltage by supplying data voltages to the second node, maintains the voltage of the second node as the data voltage, and maintains the voltage of the first node as a third voltage. |
