The invention relates to a method pertaining to an HC dosing system in which fuel in liquid form is supplied to a feed device (230) via which fuel is supplied to at least one consumption point (250) from a container (205), comprising the step of continuously detecting the feed pressure (P) which the feed device (230) furnishes. The method comprises also the step of controlling the operation of the feed device (230) on the basis of changes (?') in said feed pressure (P), with the object of reducing the impact of unwanted air supply at the feed device (230).
