DESIGN PROCESS OF TREAD EXTRUSION FOR TIRE

PURPOSE: A method for designing a tire tread extrusion subject is provided to reduce time and costs for designing the tread extrusion subject by reducing indoor testing processes and test tire manufacturing processes when designing the tread extrusion subject. CONSTITUTION: The mold profile of a tire tread is designed. The layout of the tire tread is designed using the mold profile. Blocks are divided by main groove and tread width when designing a three dimensional modeling and multiply the volume of the blocks with the number of entire pitches in the circumferential direction of a tire in a tread extrusion subject designing process. The area of the blocks are drawn by calculating the entire volume of the blocks before dividing the entire volume of the blocks with the length of a tread. A final tread extrusion subject is designed by using the area of the blocks.
