PURPOSE: A pop up type gearshift device is provided to improve the availability of the console space restricted due to a gearshift by controlling the gearshift steps of P-R-N-D with a trigger mode. CONSTITUTION: A pop up type gearshift device comprises an operating button(11), H-MATIC minus or plus buttons(12a,12b), and a gearshift steps controlling unit(20). The operating button is exposed to a center fascia(3) formed between consoles(2) and formed on or off signal. The H-MATIC minus or plus buttons generates H-MATIC minus or plus control signals by being exposed to the center fascia. The gearshift steps controlling unit comes out of the inside of the center fascia when driven with the operation button. The gearshift steps controlling unit sends a P-R-N-D gearshift steps signals to TCU using a trigger method. The gearshift steps controlling unit sends the H-MATIC minus or plus gearshift signals to the TCU in turning on the H-MATIC minus or plus buttons. [Reference numerals] (AA) Gearshift step signal;
