A clamping element 1 and a fastening arrangement 40 with clamping element 1, and a method for use of the clamping, possibly U-shaped, element 1 are described. The clamping element 1 has a first leg 3 and a second leg 4. The first and the second legs 3, 4 are arranged lying opposite one another. The first and the second legs 3, 4 are connected mechanically via a base region 5. The base region 5 pre-stresses the first leg 3 in a spring-elastic manner with respect to the second leg 4 on the arranging of parts 6, 7 between the legs. The legs claw together on the parts 6, 7. Also claimed is a fastening arrangement of a heat deflector plate on a plastic structure on which are arranged heat-resistant clamping elements and a method for using the clamping element for fastening a heat-deflector plate on a plastic structure. The clamp may include pointed claws 8, 9, 10, 11. The plastic structure may be on an upper cross-member of a vehicle body beneath a windshield and above a turbocharger of an engine. |
