A coupling assembly (10) for connection to a fluid supply is provided. The assembly (10) comprises a socket portion (12) having a first part connectable to the supply and a second part connectable to an elongate member (16); a sealing means (28) retained by the socket portion (12); and a locking means (32) for locking the socket portion (12) to the elongate member (16); wherein the locking means (32) comprises a moveable portion (34) moveable between a first unlocked position and a second locked position by slideably moving the moveable portion (34) relative to the socket portion (12) such that the locking means (32) engages with a complementary portion (22) of the elongate member (16).
