PURPOSE: A safety tool for weed whackers is provided to prevent safety accidents by preventing a hard object like a stone from bouncing up, as well as preventing a cutting blade from touching the body of an operator or a non-operator. CONSTITUTION: A safety tool for weed whackers includes the following parts: a safety plate(20) which is equipped with a combining hole in order to be combined with the bottom of a cutting blade(10) and equipped with a radial guide at the outer circumferential surface thereof; a rotation unit(30) which is inserted between the cutting blade and the safety plate and induces smooth rotation of the cutting blade; a rolling unit(40) which is combined with the rotation unit at the bottom of the safety plate and induces sliding of the safety plate while being separated from the ground; and an enclosure unit(50) which is formed at the inner circumferential surface of the safety plate and prevents foreign substances from flowing into the rotation unit and the rolling unit. |
