PURPOSE: A side shift device for a forklift is provided to facilitate the operation of the forklift by securing the sight of a driver because a driving cylinder is installed inside an upper frame of a shift frame. CONSTITUTION: A side shift device for a forklift comprises a pair of vertical frames(10), a shift frame(100), and a driving cylinder. The vertical frame lifts up and down along master rails of the forklift. The shift frame comprises an upper frame, a lower frame, a left frame, and a right frame. The rear side of the upper frame is opened. The upper frame has a laterally long mounting space. The driving cylinder is positioned inside the mounting space of the upper frame and is fixed on the vertical frames and applies pressure to the left or right frame so that the shift frame can laterally move. |
