A micro lens array sheet and a liquid crystal display device are provided to efficiently change viewing angle characteristics and to reduce a total thickness. A micro lens array sheet includes a micro lens layer(110) and a switching barrier(120). A plurality of micro lenses are arranged on the micro lens layer. The switching barrier is disposed in a lower portion of the micro lens layer. The switching barrier collects light emitted to the micro lens layer in an opaque state and diffuses the light emitted to the micro lens layer in a transparent state. The switching barrier includes upper and lower substrates, first and second electrodes, an electric discoloration layer, and an electrolyte layer. The upper and lower substrates are spaced apart from each other. The first and second electrodes are formed on the upper and lower substrates, respectively. The electric discoloration layer is discolored according to an electric field. A space between the first and second electrodes is filled with the electrolyte layer. |
