PURPOSE: A para-based aramid fiber is provided to prevent stress at an end group by interconnection of the end group to a crosslinking agent and to improve strength and elongation. CONSTITUTION: A para-based aramid fiber is fabricated by spinning poly(paraphenylene terephthalamide)(PPDT) polymer prepared by polymerization of para-phenylenediamine and terephthaloyl chloride. The para-based aramid fiber has 30g/d or more of strength and 3.8% or more of elongation. The extraction process is shortened and the reduction of extraction efficiency is prevented by reducing the particle size of the polymer through pulverization. |
