PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling transceiving operation are provided to minimize current waste generated in a transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A first or a third regulator(240-1 - 240-3) provides a power source of controlled voltages. A power consumption unit(270) processes a signal using the power source of the controlled voltages. Capacitors(260-1 - 260-3) are connected to an output end of the first or the third voltage regulator and a power source input terminal of the power consumption unit. A baseband processing unit(250) turns off the first or the third regulator during a non-operation section. The baseband processing unit turns on the first or the third regulator during an operation section.
