A method for improving tobacco stem quality through combining steam explosion and enzyme treatment technology is provided. The method includes the following steps: a) steam exploding tobacco stem with a steam explosion machine, b) adding lignin enzyme and cellulose enzyme into the exploded tobacco stem, c) processing the tobacco stem into which the enzyme is added under condition of constant temperature and humidity, the temperature being 30-35℃ and the relative humidity being 90%, d) processing the tobacco stem treated by enzyme with low temperature dehydration drying treatment to control the moisture rate at about 20-30%, e) shredding the dewatered tobacco stem for cigarette production. The method improves the quality of tobacco stem by reducing lignin and cellulose, increases adding proportion of tobacco stem in the cigarette and reduces production cost of cigarette. |
