The hand-held power tool unit has a tool which is rotatable about a rotational axis by a drive unit. A protective cover (7) surrounds the tool in a partial manner. A suction adapter (13) is equipped with a guide medium (23) for guiding the removed material. The guide medium has an outlet opening (26) which is different from the suction opening (22).
