The installation (1) has an air conditioning loop (6) for circulating coolant (FR) e.g. R744, and a secondary loop (10) for circulating heat transfer fluid (FC). First and second heat exchangers (8, 9) are located between the coolant and the heat transfer fluid. The secondary loop comprises third and fourth heat exchangers (14, 15) located between the heat transfer fluid and the air. A bypass unit (22) of the secondary loop transfers the heat transfer fluid from a fluid outlet point outside the third heat exchanger towards a fluid intake point inside the fourth heat exchanger.
