PURPOSE: An indenting method for a display device is provided to smoothly mold the surrounding plane of embo by shaping the surrounding area of a die hole to be upwardly convex. CONSTITUTION: An indenting method for a display device comprises the following steps: molding a first embo to a central material in an embo molding area; forming embo by second forging the surrounding material of the first embo molding area through the pressurization of a die and a punch which comprises an embo molding part(17) and a forging molding part(18); molding the embo to a chassis material using an indenting method combined with a forging method; and forming the forging molding part into a stepped protrusion around the embo molding part.
