PURPOSE: An assembly-type thermostat is provided to couple a main valve to a socket base detachably mounted on a cooling water passage and to guide the elevation of the main valve by supporting part of the main valve with the socket base. CONSTITUTION: An assembly-type thermostat comprises a socket base(10), a main valve(20), an elevation unit(30), elastic members(SP1,SP2), an elevation plate(40), and an elevation guider(50). The socket base is detachably fitted in a cooling water passage. The main valve is embedded in the cooling water passage. One side of the elevation unit is coupled to the main valve, and the other side thereof is fixed on part of the cooling water passage. The elastic members elastically support the main valve. The elevation plate has a bridge integrally connected to the main valve. The elevation guider is arranged on the elevation plate and the socket base. |
