PURPOSE: A real time telephone pole power line theft monitoring system is provided to monitor power line theft generation in real time by displaying a location of a power line branch and a location of a distribution point of a power line in a central control unit in case of cutting off current from a distribution point to a power line branch. CONSTITUTION: A real time power line theft monitoring system includes a plurality of detection units(110) detecting variation of current led in to each power line branch from a distribution point of a power line, wirelessly transmitting an identification number of a corresponding power line branch and unique number in case of cut off of current with respect to the power line branch. The real time power line theft monitoring system includes a relay unit(120) wirelessly communicating with the detection unit and receiving the unique number and the identification number and a central control unit(130) displaying a point of the cut off power line based on the received unique number and identification number received through the relay unit.
