A system for providing a 3-Dimensional (3D) multimedia content service using an integrated multimedia file structure is disclosed. A 3D content authoring server authors an integrated multimedia content file format by containing any one of information used to reproduce 3D content, image conversion information used to select a single view from among a plurality of images for 3D content, information used to combine 3D content segments with 2D content segments into a single file using the temporal synchronization information of a file format, information used to combine 3D content and 2D content using script data so that the resulting content is reproduced over time, information used to combine with script data, and the combinations thereof. A user terminal requests and receives integrated multimedia content from the 3D content authoring server, detects the authoring information of the integrated multimedia content, and then executes the integrated multimedia content. |
