The present invention provides an exhaust heat recovery device and an absorption type refrigerator, wherein the exhaust heat recovery device can realize mobility improvement of absorption liquid in a heat exchange tube. The absorption type refrigerator is provided with an exhaust heat recovery device (40) which heats sparse absorption liquid that flows from an absorption device (2) to a high-temperature regeneration device (5) through the exhaust in an exhaust path (17) of the exhaust that is discharged from the high-temperature regeneration device (5), wherein, the exhaust heat recovery device (40) is provided with the following components: a plurality of heat exchange tubes (43) which are configured orthogonally with the flow direction of the exhaust in a heat exchange chamber (40A) that becomes one part of an exhaust path (17); and tube connection boxes (42A,42B) which are equipped at ends of the heat exchange tube (43). Furthermore the exhaust heat recovery device is also provided with a return tube (49) which connects the upper surfaces (42A1,42B1) of the tube connection boxes (42A,42B) with the high-temperature regeneration device (5), and causes the gas which residues in the pipe connection boxes (42A,42B) to return to the high-temperature regeneration device (5). |
