PURPOSE: A vehicle warning device using navigation device and a warning method thereof are provided to prevent accidents at an intersection by synthetically determining information about a circumferential location of a vehicle and information about the speed and acceleration of the vehicle for transmitting a warning signal to the other vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A navigation device(100) provides the location information of a vehicle. A speed/acceleration sensing part(300) senses the speed or acceleration of the vehicle. A warning condition determining part(200) determines whether a warning signal is generated. A warning signal generating part(400) provides the warning signal to the outside of the vehicle according to determination of the warning condition determination part.
