A MULTI-CAGE TYPE BALLAST WATER FILTER EQUIPMENT IMPROVING BACK WASHING EFFICIENCY OF FILTER

PURPOSE: A multi cage type ballast water filtering apparatus capable of the backwashing efficiency of a filter is provided to simplify the structure by moving a discharging part and a backwashing line thereof to the lower part of the filtering apparatus and by connecting discharging pipes of each filtering unit with one line. CONSTITUTION: A filtering unit of a multi cage type ballast water filtering apparatus capable of the backwashing efficiency of a filter comprises a filter(20) and an automatic washing part. The automatic washing part includes a driver(310), a suction part(320), and a discharging part(330). The suction part includes a suction bar(321) and a core(322). A diameter of a suction hole of the suction bar is approximately equal or greater when compared with the lead length formed by one rotation of the suction bar moving to the top and bottom. The suction bar is capable of increasing the filter backwashing efficiency and preventing damage to the suction bar during backwashing of foreign substance by rotatably moving a suction bar overlapped with foreign substance without leaving a part on which the foreign substance is not backwashed.
