The present invention provides a liquid softener composition having pH 2 to 5 at 20° C. and containing (a) a polymer compound having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000 to 90,000 and containing specific monomer units (A) and (B) in a specific molar ratio, (b) one or more compounds selected from specific quaternary ammonium salts and amine compounds, and (c) at least one compound selected from water and solvents having a C log P value of 2 or less within specified ranges. |
