PURPOSE: A brake safety device for a vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle from being started by blocking power source of a fuel motor when vacuum is insufficient at a brake booster and to prevent accidents if a driver puts on a brake in sudden unintended acceleration situation. CONSTITUTION: A brake safety device for a vehicle comprises a first line and a second line. The first line comprises an exhaust manifold(1), an engine(2), an intake manifold(3), a check valve(4,8), vacuum hoses(5,9), a negative pressure connection unit(10), a vacuum switch(6,11), a booster(7), and a brake booster(12). The second line is formed at the negative pressure connection unit and comprises vacuum hoses(15,19), a check valve(16), a booster(17), and a vacuum pump. The first line and the second line are connected to a connection line of a brake switch(22), a side switch(24), and an ACC(27), and the connection line stops the vehicle and reduces speed by controlling the vacuum pump and by maintaining a vacuum state on the booster. When a problem happens in the first line and the second line, a four pin relay(13) connected to a fuel motor(14) blocks power source of the fuel motor and stop the driving.
