PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically extinguishing a fire of molten metal in a magnesium melting furnace and monitoring leakage of the molten metal is provided to secure rapid fire-extinguishing performance by injecting fire-extinguishing gas to the generation area where smoke generated. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically extinguishing a fire of molten metal in a magnesium melting furnace and monitoring leakage of the molten metal comprises a smoke detector(100), a fire-extinguishing gas injector(200), an O2 detector(400), a HMI(Human Machine Interface) unit(300). The smoke detector detects the smoke(30) caused by the combustion of a molten metal(20). The fire-extinguishing gas injector injects into molten metal. In case the smoke is detected, the HMI unit outputs the generation of fire and warns the generation of fire to the people. |
