PURPOSE: A multi cage type ballast water filtering capable of preventing corrosion in a body is provided to eliminate foreign substance attached to the inside of the body by injecting air while draining ballast water from the inside of the body. CONSTITUTION: A filtering unit of a multi cage type ballast water filtering apparatus capable of preventing corrosion inside a body includes a filter(20) and an automatic washing part. The automatic washing part comprises a driver(310), a suction part(320), and a discharging part(330). The lower part of the body includes a drain line(3321) to drain ballast water in the body through the drain line in the case when the operation of the filtering apparatus is stopped in order to prevent corrosion of the inside of the body by stagnant ballast water.
