摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a distance to a target object are provided to adjust a distance to the target object by correcting measurement errors when the target object is curved or inclined at predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for measuring a distance to a target object comprises a first light generator(121), a second light generator(122), a light recognition unit(130), a noise filter unit(140), a peak detecting unit(150), an inclination calculating unit(160), and a distance calculating unit(170). The light recognition unit recognizes reflected light when incident lights respectively emitted from the first and second light generators are reflected by a target object. The noise filter unit sorts a first data set and a second data set according to an origin of the emitted lights and removes noise of the first and second data sets. The peak detecting unit detects central peaks of the first and second data sets. The inclination calculating unit measures a gap between the detected central peaks between the first and second data sets, thereby calculating the inclination of the target object. The distance calculating unit calculates distances from the target object to the first and second light generators.
