COMPOSITION FOR RETARDATION FILM, RETARDATION FILM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A composition for a retardation film is provided to have high retardation value to a plane direction, and to improve aligning property due to elongation property of an ester-based film. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a retardation film comprises a cellulose ester compound and a cholesteric polymer liquid crystal compound. The included amount of the cholesteric polymer liquid crystal compound is 5-25 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of cellulose ester compound. A manufacturing method of the retardation film comprises: a step of mixing the cellulose ester compound and cholesteric polymer liquid crystal compound to manufacture the composition for a retardation film; a step of molding the composition by a solution softening method; and a step of elongating the film.
