<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a motor with low loss. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 10 includes: a rotor 20; a coil unit 50 that interpolates the rotor 20 through an air gap and has a cylindrical shape; and a back yoke 40 that interpolates the coil unit 50 and has a cylindrical shape. The coil unit 50 has a two layer structure constituted of first layer coils 60 and second layer coils 70 in a radial direction. In the first layer coils 60 of an outer peripheral side, individual pieces of a plurality of coils 61 through 66 that are wound in a flat manner and have air cores are aligned and disposed one by one at given intervals in a circumferential direction. In the second layer coils 70 of an inner peripheral side, individual pieces of coils 71 through 76 that have the same number of coils as that of the first layer coils 60, are wound in a flat manner and have air cores are disposed one by one at given intervals with a phase shifted by a half pitch from that of the first layer coils 60 in the circumferential direction.
