<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that, while using seven-segment displays for the chronometric purpose, also uses dot displays for indicating the decimal point and requiring no separate display unit for status displaying, such as a power supply indicator. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 11 is so disposed on an audio system 1 that a dot display 103A, a dot display 103B, a dot display 103C and a dot display 103D, all for indicating the decimal point, are reversed in up-and-down positions from the usual mode of disposition and come to the top face side. A microcomputer 22, which controls a light emission controller 21 to coordinate time displaying with the current time, so performs light emission control that a plurality of seven-segment displays are recognized as numerals when reversed in their up-and-down positions. This enables the user, when the display device 11 is disposed on the audio system 1 with their up-and-down positions reversed, to recognize the seven-segment displays as constituting a chronometer without noticing the disposition reversed in up-and-down positions and accordingly feels anything wrong. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
