<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of properly performing control on the improvement of turning performance for stabilizing a vehicle behavior during circular traveling without giving a sense of incompatibility or a shock to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle controller performing the control on the improvement of the turning performance for stabilizing the vehicle behavior during the circular traveling by controlling a driving force and a braking force includes: a first control amount setting means for setting a first control amount of the driving force and the braking force based on estimated values of lateral acceleration and a lateral jerk estimated based on a steering angle and a steering angular velocity (step S2); a second control amount setting means for setting a second control amount of the driving force and the braking force based on detected values of the lateral acceleration and the lateral jerk detected by a sensor (step S3); and a turning performance improvement performing means for performing the improvement of the turning performance by selecting a larger one of an absolute value of the first control amount and an absolute value of the second control amount (step S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
