<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface plasmon resonance sensor system. <P>SOLUTION: The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor system includes: a light source unit emitting first light; a polarizer unit which polarizes the first light; a rotation mirror which reflects the polarized first light and diverges it as disk like second light; a shielding film which is arranged adjacent to the rotation mirror and transmits a part of the second light; a plurality of cylinder lenses which converge a part of the second light which has been transmitted through the shielding film; a sensor chip which reflects the converged second light as third light; and a light receiving unit which senses the third light. The rotation mirror is formed in a planar shape, rotates around a center axis as a reference, and includes a planar substrate and at least a metal layer deposited on one face of the substrate.
