<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand shower device not imparting restriction to a gripping hand when gripping a shower head by hand, having excellent usability, and not needing a power supply, when a user performs the operation of a water stop/discharge from the shower head. <P>SOLUTION: This hand shower device opens/closes a main valve by opening/closing a pilot valve 64 provided inside the shower head 10 to discharge and stop water from shower discharge holes. The inside of the shower head 10 is provided with an opening/closing mechanism 66 of the pilot valve 64, and is movably provided with weights 118-1, 118-2.
