<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method which responds to erroneous mounting of a cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: This ink cartridge 200 includes a label part 210 on one peripheral wall surface of a casing 202 for forming an ink housing part. The label part 210 has a lamination structure in which a plurality of layers having different characteristics are laminated, and includes an optical function layer 213 which transmits light (a first wavelength light) having a predetermined wavelength, and a light reflecting layer 212 which reflects the first wavelength light. The light reflecting layer 212 is positioned on a surface side of the casing 202. When the light reflecting layer 212 receives heat from a thermal head 102 of a heating unit 100 facing the label part 210, an absorption rate of the first wavelength light is irreversibly enhanced within its heat receiving range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
