<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly fill a flow passage with liquid. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid filling method includes: storing liquid in a second liquid storage part by allowing the liquid stored in an ink cartridge to flow in a first flow passage which connects the ink cartridge with the second liquid storage part to be used for storing the liquid discharged from a first liquid storage part storing the liquid and for discharging the liquid to the first liquid storage part; and filling a third flow passage with the liquid by allowing the liquid stored in the second liquid storage part to flow in the third flow passage which connects the second liquid storage part with a second flow passage connecting a head part discharging the liquid to a medium with the first liquid storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
