<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which when an interruption printing instruction is given, determines the number of remaining sheets to be printed for the preceding print job, and when the number of remaining sheets to be printed is small, performs the preceding printing process first, thereafter, performs the interruption printing, and as a result, performs efficient printing processing. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus capable of performing interruption printing includes: a receiving part which receives print data; a print job information storage part which stores print job information of the print data; an image data conversion part which converts the print data to image data; a printing matrix storage part which when converting the print data to the image data, generates and stores printing matrix information managing the print data for each of pages; a control part which when the interruption printing instruction is given, performs the interruption printing when the number of remaining sheets to be printed for the preceding print data is equal to or more than the predetermined number of sheets, and which when the number of remaining sheets to be printed is less than the predetermined number of sheets, continuously performs printing processing for the preceding print data; and a printing processing part which performs printing processing in accordance with the print job information and the printing matrix information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
