<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger that is able to avoid unexpected release of connection between a charging port and a charging connector during charging. <P>SOLUTION: A charger according to the invention comprises: an engaging member which restricts movement of a charging connector to the direction of extracting the charging connector from the charging port by engaging with an engaged part when the charging connector is connected to the charging port, and which releases the engagement with the engaged part by separating the engaged part by release operation; and restriction means which is provided at a vehicle side, and able to switch a state in which separation of the engagement member from the engaged part is restricted and a state in which there is no restriction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
