APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow print processing to be executed efficiently when a subsequent print job is input during processing for a preceding print job.

SOLUTION: A print control apparatus includes: an input means for inputting a print job having a plurality of pages; a dividing means for dividing a print job input by the input means into page data by the page, and storing the divisions in a memory; a print control means for allowing the page data subjected to the dividing means to be printed according to a printing sequence; and a control means for making a subsequent job wait to continue processing executed on a preceding job by the dividing means when the subsequent job having a higher priority than that of the preceding job is input by the input means while processing on the preceding job input by the input means is executed by the dividing means.
