PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a code rhythm pattern to be properly authenticated in consideration of an operation timing error for adopting a configuration to release a lock state by the code rhythm pattern.

SOLUTION: Code rhythm pattern information associated with a reference tap interval indicating timing of tap operation in accordance with a tap operation order and tap margin information indicating a margin width with respect to the reference tap interval are stored. Whether or not a rhythm pattern by the tap operation matches the code rhythm pattern is determined on the basis of whether or not tap time of the tap operation performed to a touch sensor is included in an authentication tap interval width in which the margin width is set with respect to the reference tap interval. A lock state is released in accordance with a determination result of matching. Then the margin width of the tap margin information is enabled to be changed by the user operation.
