PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low electrostatic charge particle prevented from being electrostatically charged and from being reduced in flowability.

SOLUTION: The low electrostatic charge expandable particle includes at least an expandable polystyrene resin particle and an antistatic agent coating the expandable polystyrene resin particle. The antistatic agent is a composition which is a solid or liquid at room temperature, and includes at least a compound having one amino group and two hydroxy groups in the molecule. The content of the compound to the expandable polystyrene resin particle is 0.01-0.10 wt.%.
